St. Leonhardskapelle Chapel

Romanesque construction
The wall paintings in the inconspicuous St Leonhard’s Chapel, south east of Naudersberg Castle are among the most important Romanesque frescoes ever created in North Tyrol. They were re-discovered in 1914, but work to uncover them only started during the war years of 1943/ 1944, which was then completed in 1951/1952. You can get a key from the Nauders community office
Opening hours
Keys can be borrowed from the municipality of Nauders.
