Cross-country skiing in the Tyrolean Oberland

There is plenty of cross-country skiing to be done in the border triangle with the holiday regions of the Kaunertal, the Tyrolean Oberland and Nauders am Reschenpass. The region is spanned by a network of 135 kilometres of trails – from romantic valley trails to challenging high-altitude trails, for both skaters and “traditionalists”. Fans of the Nordic sport can easily cross over the border from Tyrol to South Tyrol and the Engadin in Switzerland. Some of these trails lie between 1,440 m and 1,900 m above sea level and so have guaranteed snow – ideal for exercise as the altitude increases the training effect.

Also discover the trails and hiking routes in the Kaunertal & in Nauders!

Around the valley region between Prutz and Pfunds, the expanses of the Kaunertal or on the high plateau of the Reschen Pass are perfect locations for all cross-country skiing fans.
