Federkielstickerei Seiringer

Federkielstickerei Seiringer is a family business, now in its third generation, dedicated with passion to a centuries-old craft.
The basis of our embroidery are quills which come from peacocks. These throw off their feathers once a year.
The collected quills are neatly separated until only thin threads are left at the end. Sometimes we dye these threads for further use with natural colours. We embroider quills exclusively by hand. With great care we embroider the threads with an awl into exquisite leather.
