The path branches off to the left at the southern edge of the village of Ried and leads along a relaxing footpath, past meadows and along the edge of the forest to the long meadow. Cross the Dorfstraße and follow the Kabisreithweg to the Faggenbach. Follow the Faggenbach to the Faggenbrücke bridge, then on the other bank to Faggensteg. After crossing the bridge you can take a short cut to the right and return to the starting point via Kreuzgasse and Kugelgasse in Prutz.
