After all, it’s quite a special experience to leave behind your own tracks in the permanent ice. With guaranteed snow from October till June, you can fully make the most of every one of the 55 kilometres of pistes.

Thanks to its position 2.150 to 3.160 metres above sea level, the Glacier ski resort offers optimum conditions for skiing, snowboarding, free riding and soaking up the sun. The glaciated Weißseespitze towering over at 3.535 metres is always in view from the resort.

An extra portion of action

A special highlight awaits adrenaline junkies on the Kaunertal Glacier: the black piste from Karlesjoch to the lower terminus of Ochsenalm. With a drop in height of 1.100 metres, it’s the ski resort’s longest descent. With a 75% downhill gradient on the Steinbockwand Passage, it’s also the one with the biggest wow effect.The highlight: the 170 metre-long illuminated ski tunnel!

Up to glacier paradise

The Kaunertal Glacier has one of the most impressive approaches out of all of the ski resorts. The Kaunertal Glacier Road snakes its way towards the sky from the valley village of Feichten up to the very edge of the permanent snow. Boasting 29 hairpin bends, imposing structures, historical sites and above all: unforgettable views!

Ski bus from Ried, Prutz & Tösens

If you’d rather leave your car behind, you can conveniently hop on the ski bus free of charge. The ski bus takes you from a station near your accommodation to the most beautiful ski resorts in the Tyrolean Oberland. The most relaxed way to start a day skiing on the Glacier!
