Sauerbrunnquelle (Spring) | Prutz

Very special water source

Centuries ago, a special water came to light at the foot of this rock, on today's Via Claudia Augusta. Around 1750, the municipality of Prutz tapped the spring and made it accessible to the public. The Prutzer Sauerbrunn contains important minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium and sulphur with a proportion of natural carbonic acid.
