Bike & Hike Fendels - Samariger Steig

Experience an impressive combination of sporting activity and natural alpine scenery with the Bike & Hike Tour from Ried im Oberinntal to the Sattelklause in Fendels - and onwards on foot via the new Samariger Steig trail.

The starting point is the municipal office in Ried. From here, the route leads along well-maintained forest paths up to the Sattelklause above Fendels. The ascent is varied, offers great views and ends at a cosy rest area - ideal for a short breather.
The hiking section begins at the Sattelklause. The Samariger Steig runs along an impressive high-altitude trail and impresses with narrow paths, natural forests and fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, while both the Sattelklause and the Fendler Alm invite you to stop for a bite to eat and treat yourself to regional specialities and warm hospitality.
