The Kaunertal Glacier Panorama Road
The construction of the Kaunertal Glacier Panorama Road has made the unique beauty of our glacial world more accessible to everyone. Leaving Feichten, the 27 km long Panorama Road passes the Gepatsch reservoir and the Gepatsch Building (Alpine association hut built in 1873), through ancient pine forests up to 2,750 m into the permanent ice of the Kaunertal glacier region. Large car park - also suitable for buses. Self-service restaurant with around 500 seats. Open daily from 8.00 to 16.30.
