Jägerkapelle (Hunter chapel)

The Jägerkapelle in Weiler Unterhäuser at 1,284 m is dedicated to Saint Hubertus and is owned by the community with special permission for hunters to use the 12m2 chapel area. The Kaunertal hunter’s guild under Rupert Auer and Engelbert Zauner built this open prayer area in 1994. The figure of Saint Hubertus the patron saint of hunters was sculpted by the Kaunertal artist Roman Gfall.
