Kaunertal-Falkaunsalm

The tour starts at the information hut in the hamlet of Platz in the Kaunertal. The route passes through the hamlet of Nufels towards the Kaltenbrunn pilgrimage church, branching off to the right just before it. The road winds its way uphill through numerous hairpin bends and branches off to the right onto a forest track at the Wiesenhof. After about 1 km, you reach the ‘Wiese’ rest area, which is the perfect spot for a break and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. At the next junction, keep right and follow the final section parallel to the MTB 7130 (Kaltenbrunn Pilgrimage Circuit) as far as the Falkaunsalm. The return journey can be made either along the same route or via the Kaltenbrunn Pilgrimage Circuit (MTB 7130) – also a medium-difficulty route – to Kauns or Kaunerberg.
