The tour begins at the Prutz information office and follows the Kaunertalstraße. After passing through the town center, the route turns right onto Kaunerbergstraße toward Faggen, where it merges with the existing MTB trail 7124 to Kauns. From the Kauns municipal office, the route briefly heads toward Prutz. After passing “WILIBU,” turn right and then take the next left at the following junction. Afterwards, keep right and follow the Auchtweg to the hamlet of Goldegg. The winding trail alternates between paved sections and gravel surfaces, passing through additional hamlets until reaching the main road. After crossing the main road, the route passes to the right of the Falpaus chapel. After approximately one kilometer, the trail first turns left and shortly thereafter right. Along the forest road (a short stop at Schnadigen Weiher is possible after about 0.5 km), the tour meanders through numerous switchbacks across meadows and light woodland up to the Aifneralm. A special highlight is the "Knottenkino" at Aifnerstein, located about a five-minute walk from the alpine hut. The return trip follows the same route
