You start directly at the mountain station of the Ried-Fendels cableway. Thanks to its clever route design the trail doesn’t need any artificial elements. Besides the cropped forest and meadow terrain with some short steep sections, the beautiful view down to Ried definitely makes a good reason to pull the brakes every once in a while. The approx. 30 m long suspension bridge across the torrent – which lends its name to the trail (torrent is “Wildbach” in German) – is a popular stop to take in the breathtaking views of the gorge below.
