Traveling Exhibition Incontri d’Arte 3
-
Ried im Oberinntal
International traveling exhibition series “Incontri d’Arte 3” stops at Sigmundsried Castle in Ried im Oberinntal.
The opening of the exhibition "Ethos" (tracing the transition from paganism to Christianity) will take place on August 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Sigmundsried Castle in Ried im Oberinntal.
The exhibition will be on display until September 20, 2026.
It is part of the international traveling exhibition "Incontri d’Arte 3" (Art Encounters) and brings together artists from Germany, Austria, and Italy. The regions represented—Bavaria, North Tyrol, South Tyrol, Trentino, and Veneto—are precisely those situated along the Via Claudia Augusta.
The Via Claudia Augusta, which once linked the Danube to the Adriatic, serves as a symbol of encounter and exchange. Just as the historic Roman road connected people, goods, and cultures across the Alps, this traveling exhibition aims to connect regions and people today through art.
The exhibition travels along the historic route from stop to stop, making the shared history and cultural diversity of these regions visible.
With the inclusion of Sigmundsried Castle in Ried im Oberinntal, another location is becoming an international hub for art and culture.
