Between 1993 and 1998, the two cultural sites were rescued from ruin and rebuilt by some idealists with tireless attention to detail Pearl barley is processed in the mill as it was 60 years ago, and two millstones are used to grind wheat and rye into different types of flour.
The two cultural sites are located in Pfunds/Greit and can be easily reached via a tarmac road in six or seven kilometres.
Greit sawmill closed due to restoration work in summer 2025 - the mill can be visited during regular opening hours.
Opening times: from the beginning of June to mid-September every Thursday from 01:00 pm to 05:00 pm and every 1st Sunday of the month from 01:00 pm to 05:00 pm
