Wildbachtrail from summer 2017

Freaky: New Wildbachtrail for bikers in the Tyrolean Oberland

From summer 2017 the Tyrolean Oberland will offer more mountainbike challenges for all: the new Wildbachtrail is from the mountain station to the valley station of the cable cars of Fendels-Ried blue, so it's classified to be an easy trail, but the landscape is heavy impressed.

Downhill biking is becoming increasingly popular among the locals and the guests. Beside the bike trails among the valley we constantly try to support the development of varied mountain bike trails, which can be easily reached by cablecars. The new Wildbachtrail from Fendels to Ried is only a temporary highlight of this initiative. The singletrail leads over a 3.5 kilometer long trail, which promises action and relaxing at the same time.

New rope bridge as a highlight

The starting point is directly at the mountain station of the cable cars Ried-Fendels. Thanks to clever route guiding the trail comes out witout any artificial elements, so it's absolutely natural. Not only the broken forest and lawn ground with short cliffy road parts but also the beautiful view to Ried invites you to barking. At the new rope bridge, which is approximately 30 meters long, across the torrent - from there is the name for this new trail - everybody stops to take a look in the gorge. Here the adrenalin rustles with the whitewater drivenfree to the bet.

Easy entrance to the trail-challenge

In order to make this sporting natural experience accessible to a wide public, the Wildbachtrail was expanded to the German singletrail classification accordingly as an easy descent in stage S1-blue. As an equipment we recommend you a mountain bike or a downhill bike with knee protectors and helmet.
