The building of the Kaunertal Scenic Glacier Raod made the world of glaciers accessible to many people. Starting from Feichten the 27km-long panoramic road passes the Gepatsch reservoir and the Gepatschhaus hut (built in 1873). It leads through old pinewood forests to an altitude of 2,750m and directly to the Kaunertal glaciers.
