The Gepatsch reservoir is situated in the south of the Kaunertal valley and can be reached via the Panoramic Glacier Trail. It has a capacity of 140 million m³ and produces 620 million kilowatt hours per year. The power station is located in Prutz at the entrance of the Kaunertal valley. It was built in 1961 and is in operation since 1965; company: TIWAG.
