Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser... ... is delightfully located on a south-sloping terrace (752m) at the foot of the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountain range.
With 1300 inhabitants Scheffau is the smallest of the Kaiser villages. Its farmhouses and districts are scattered on sunny terraces and hills above Weißache river.
Opposite the Kaiser mountain range there is Brandstadl mountain. In summer, a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. In winter, part of Wilder Kaiser - Brixental SKI WELT, Austria´s largest linked ski area, boasting over 90 lifts and 280 km of immaculate ski runs.
Scheffau ski school´s latest attractions is the "Kiddy Kaiser Land"
A special kid´s terrain was created around Brandstadl top terminal. Highly motivated and experienced instructors offer a fun, exciting and safe way for kids to improve skills and awareness of terrain features.

Scheffau guests enjoy VIP status! Scheffau guests receive a special VIP coded ski pass giving access to the VIP entrance at the gondola base terminal - waiting times are virtually unknown! The immaculately groomed ski runs were awarded the "Tirolean Seal of Quality".

Kaiserland kids' land on Brandstadl mountain - a kids´ ski school with a difference! "Give-it-a-try" skiing program for
children from 2 to 4 years.
Max. of 3 children per teacher.
(During lunch-time only).
One unit (45 min.) = EURO 25 per child (incl. skis)

Distance from the center of Scheffau to the base station of the cablecar approx. 1km Access to the ski lifts without car:
* Ski Trail: from the town an artificial trail (blue signs with marked with "1a") lead through the underpass straight to the gondola (approx. 5 min)
* Ski Bus: free for guest card and/or ski pass holders. For timetables contact the TIC.
