Winter magic Fresh air, clean snow and breathtaking scenery will surround you in winter.
Glacier paradise... Kaunertal glacier has great skiing and snowboarding. Nine lifts are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every day. There are 32 km of slopes. The sunny glacier patio is ideal to relax and unwind.
Non-alpine skiers (but snow lovers) Non-alpine skiers will also find their share of fun in the Kaunertal with options like cross-country skiing, hiking, sledding, ice climbing, backcountry skiing and snowshoeing.
Relaxation... After an exciting day in the mountains, relax in the Kaunertal Center with indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, tanning bed and bowling alley.
As the day ends... ... you can take a walk in the sunset. 10 km of hiking trails wind across the snowy landscape.
