The recreational town of Kaunerberg and its many ponds are located on an altitude of 1,270-1,600 meters. Due to its location, no town in all of Tirol gets as much sun as Kaunerberg, making it a great base for hiking aficionados to explore the region, with many trails starting right here - no need to take the car.
The two main attractions are the panoramic trail and the water conduit - you just cannot miss out on those! And after a long walk, why not jump into the refreshing water of the Schandiger Weiher pond? Or how about some trout fishing?
